FOREX Trading Sites?

Postby Trader32414 on Sat Aug 15, 2009 11:45 pm

Is there a simple Forex Trading site - I have been practicing on the trading platform provided by Howthemarketworks.com and have found it very easy to use. The format of the bid and ask chart has exactly what you need without alot of extras thrown in and the Quick Trade is easy to use, use the dropdown and your "order" is done. I downloaded a practice account - ForexTrader from Forex.com - I opened up the software and really did not spend much time in it, there was alot of bells and whistles to the program, maybe it looked complex because there is so many different graphs, forms, an entire section of just headlines, ect. Any suggestions for a basic site or does it not exist?

That's pretty much just how forex is. You should try and customise it to make yourself at home. under the view tab is a list of 5 layouts. I preferred scalper layout. then i widened the chart size and shrunk the headlines window. Below the chart i leave the "open positions" tab open. it's the only one that's important. I changed the chart colors to a nice brown background with green and red candlesticks. finally i reduced the currencies on the left to the few that i was interested in. that is under edit>trading preferences>rates tab.

It takes a little bit to get used to it, but i wish i had half of these options on my scottrade platform.

Forex brokers are a little pushy, so make sure you dont let them push you into depositing money. the best thing to do is give them a false phone number, name, address, and trade for fun. The way the act they think you should be able to pick it up in a month and be ready to trade. It just doesn't come that fast.

James16group.com sounds like it is some kind of forum, but they charge $129 per month to sign up.

just wondering if you signed up and if it was worth this much money?
