Yeah i suggest one up on wall street and beating the streets by peter lynch both great reads ive read them both and high reccomend them

One of my favorites was suggested by a successful investor and friend. It's called Rule #1. The author is an ex Green Beret by the name of Phil Town. My buddy told me for a coupla years to get this book and read it. I was kicking myself once I finally did.

Rule 1 is excellent, Phil has a new book "Payback Time" out now. Another excellent choice

The Devil in The White City [i] by Erik Larson is a hit or miss book. i would recomend it for someone that enjoys very indebth books. [/i]

Oldies but still great are Financial Analysis by Benjamin Graham and Interpretation of Financial Statements by the same author

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham is another excellent read, look for the sixth edition as the book is nearly 100 years old and the early editions have pretty dated examples
